Admissions

Applying for a Place at Brook School

To join Brook School, your child will need to have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) in place. If a learner has identified additional needs but does not yet have an EHCP, an Education, Health and Care Assessment Request (ECHAR) will need to be made through the local authority.

We follow a clear admissions process, outlined in our Admissions Policy, to ensure that we are able to meet each learner’s individual needs effectively.

Brook School supports learners aged 11 to 16 with special educational needs, primarily within the areas Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, moderate Autism Spectrum conditions, moderate learning difficulties and other neurodiverse profiles.

Learners may join us during the school year and will access a personalised curriculum designed around their individual strengths, needs, and aspirations.

Our caring and committed staff team takes time to get to know you and your child through a carefully planned transition process, helping them to feel safe, secure, settled, and ready to learn.
