Wellbeing and Mental Health at Brook School
At Brook School we are committed to providing all our learners with rich and diverse experiences which promote their wellbeing, as well as their personal and social development.
We know that securing positive outcomes is dependent on promoting and prioritising positive mental health.
We ensure that all learners have access to wellbeing support to help them feel confident, comfortable, and ready to engage in their learning. This provides an opportunity for them to share any concerns, worries, or challenges they may be experiencing, whether related to past experiences or their journey at school.
Additional support is available for learners who may need extra help managing their emotions or engaging positively with their peers.
We have a Wellbeing Lead in school who is here to support our staff team. Our Wellbeing Champion manages initiatives designed to promote a healthy and proactive environment to create a sense of community and belonging for all.

It can feel especially hard if your child’s mood and behaviour seem different and you’re not sure why, or what you can do to help. But you are not alone.”** (Young Minds 2020)”**
